Pleasant central hotel in McLeodganj. Right in the middle of the Main Street with fantastic views over the valley below. Rooms are clean and comfortable with heating. Nice rooftop bar which does beers. Laundry can be organised cheaply. ATM and money changer very close nearby although former is tucked away by a shop. Friendly staff and excellent location.

The hotel is right in the centre of McLeod Ganj and ideal for the bars and restaurants. I stayed here for a week in March 2024 to both watch England play cricket and do some hiking. I had a spacious room on a lower floor which had a terrace overlooking the valley. The occasional monkey did visit the terrace so be aware. The room and bedding were all clean. The shower was a bucket / jug which is quite common in India. The air con / heater was a bit temperamental however the hotel quickly sorted out an electric stand heater. This was required as it did get cold in the evenings whilst I was there (early March). I did not eat at the hotel at all as there are so many restaurants nearby ..,, my particular favourite was the Snow Lion Restaurant.

This hotel is located in main market of McLeod Ganj. Staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was tidy and clean. We also had a delicious breakfast. The food's quantity and quality were both excellent. The view from window was great. We relished our stay.

Pathetic hotel for family, never book this hotel ,if you really wanns book good hotel that is on club house road I am sharing my terrible experience,visited M hotel Macleodganj with family on 26 june2023 and they have given us one connecting room and on 27th june 2023 they have given connected room to bachelors and they keep on very hard knocking on our door around 2-3 times around1:30am and when informed to hotel staff as hotel staff done nothing and they keep on loud screaming till 4:00am, hotel staff did not handle the situation and we slept around 4am that night as it was horrible experience,never book this pathetic hotel and next day i told them to chsnge my room and they have given me room whose flooring is undone as i have child with me they dont even bother and given me low grade room at same price and given me rs300 discount after do much effort.if you want terrible and worst experience then you can book

The manager was very rude in telling us that our pet wasn’t allowed at the hotel. He started by aggressively pointing at our little shih tzu and shouting “it’s not allowed in here, it’s not allowed.” After we told him to calm down and that we get it, we were waiting in the lobby, he again told us with a very disgusted look that our dog wasn’t allowed in the premises. So we had to leave the lobby, go outside of the hotel and stand and wait for 40 minutes for my parents to come back from a stupid tour of the hotel (which they had insisted us to take) and to top it off, they refused to even set up two chairs outside if the hotel for us to wait. We were never informed earlier that the hotel wasn’t pet-friendly and we felt highly disrespected by this manager!
